EZRA

I first met and photographed Ezra in 2016 at the age of 13 for my final college project FLUX.

I kept in touch with their mum Jackie via Facebook, and the following year, then aged 14, Ezra shaved off all of their hair.

I asked their mum if I could photograph them again, which I did.

And so this became an annual event.

I have now photographed Ezra seven times.

In 2020, their portrait was taken remotely using Zoom during the worldwide Coronavirus lockdown.

It is my intention to photograph Ezra every year going forward, for as long as they allow me to.
